Dr Kierrtana Selvakumar

New Zealand born Dr Kierrtana Selvakumar graduated from University of Western Sydney in 2015 with honours and then completed her junior medical training at Westmead Hospital. She has completed her fellowship in General Practice with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020 and also obtained a Diploma in Child Health.
Kierrtana has had broad exposure to a range of communities and conditions, having worked at 5 different practices across Sydney. She is a dynamic and young GP with special interests in adolescent and women’s health.
Kierrtana is passionate about developing strong bonds to her community and empowering patients to make informed decisions. She is the newest face at Manukau City Medical centre, but already a member of the family, as the daughter of our longstanding GP Dr Selva.
Outside of medicine, she has a degree in classical Indian vocal and instrumental music, enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and dog and is a fitness and well-being enthusiast.
